4 Benefits of Knowing Who You Are In Christ

Knowing Who You Are In Christ is a foundation to build your life on.

What you believe, your attitude, how you function, relationships are built on how your see yourself – your identity. Identity does not depend on who you are or what you have done. It is found in who God says you are. When you see yourself as you are in Christ, life is built upon a firm foundation.

You identify with the identity God has given you rather the identity the world has given you.

The world will attempt to label you sick, depressed, abandoned, dysfunctional, stressed, incompetent, anxious and a myriad of other disorders. God’s identity for you is very different.

Creflo Dollar said, “God made us in His image, and when we accept Jesus as our Lord and personal Savior, we become one with Him. This means that, from a spiritual perspective, we are just like Him!

As a born-again believer, you are just like Jesus – healthy, healed, joyful, capable, restful, peaceful and more.

Being in Christ boosts confidence.

Google “boost confidence” and you’ll come up with a heap of tips, tricks and even a few crazy ideas on how to boost confidence. Without a doubt, the number one way to boost confidence is to know who you in Christ. In Christ, you are just like Jesus. Just as perfect. Just as gracious. Just as wonderful. That has to make you more confident.

When you are in Christ, all the promises of God are yes.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

To me, this is the greatest benefit of all. The promises of God (“no matter how many He has made,” means all of them) are “Yes” in Christ. Whatever you need, when you are in Christ, the promise is yours. In Christ the promise is good as done.

Now you know the benefits, you want to know who you are in Christ, right? I’ve written a course to help you do just that. Check it out over here.
