An Empty Womb on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day can be a sad one when your womb is empty. The desire to be a mother is unbearably strong, yet unanswered.

Let me fill your heart with encouragement today: it’s not over. God has not finished with you, or your body. Reality may scream that you have lost all ability to conceive, but The Almighty is not done with your story. Put your hope in Him.

You may be a mother, but at the moment, your heart feels empty. Disappointment has plagued life of late. The message is the same for you. Your story is not finished. Lift up your eyes. Put your hope in Him.

Don’t allow your heart to be sorrowful when you wake Sunday morning. Meditate on the following verses. Be strong and courageous. Allow His love to surround you. The world may offer no hope, but in the Lord, you can be hopeful. He will fulfil His promise for you. The name of Jesus is your hope.

Psalm 33:22 Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.

Psalm 31:24 So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!

Psalm 119:49 Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope.

Proverbs 10:28 The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.

Matthew 12:21 And his name will be the hope of all the world.
