Peacekeeper

Matthew 5:9 God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.

Peace, you don’t realise how important it is until it’s gone. The Bible says that peace guards our hearts, and that is why it is absolutely vital. Without peace, our heart is vulnerable to attack.

While the quality of being a peacemaker is highly sought after, you can’t make peace if you don’t have peace yourself. It is when you are at peace with yourself, and at peace with the world around you, that you create an environment of peace. When you’re at peace, situations won’t phase you. When you are happy with yourself and who you are in Christ, what others say will be like water off a ducks back. That is real peace and really being a peacemaker.

This kind of peace is not normal, it is supernatural. But the good news is that Jesus gave His peace to us (John 16:33). Choose to allow the peace of Christ to guard your heart. And walk in continual peace, because then the world will know that you are truly a child of God.

Be amazing.
