10 Scriptures to Cling to when Believing for a Miracle

Psalm 77:14 (NIV) You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.

Mark 1:40-41 (NLT) A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed. “If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said. Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!”

Luke 1:37 (NKJV) For with God nothing will be impossible.

Mark 9:23 (NLT) “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”

Matthew 21:21-22 (NLT) Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

James 1:12 (NLT) God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Romans 4:20-21 (NLT) Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Psalm 136:4 (NLT) Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever.

    I facilitate Post abortion classes for a Christian Pregnancy Assistance Center in Houston. I also consult with pregnant clients to help them make the choice of “life” and give them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The verses where Jesus offers healing yet questions if they truly believe He can are the essence of the classes. Only those who truly want the responsibility associated with a changed and healed life can be healed. There is a difference in wanting healing and truly wanting what that healing then entails. Praise God for those who choose it and go on to help others accept that forgiveness.

    Hi Sarah there was a question about scriptures to add about miracles. Yes miracles are great and the best miracle is that of a heart that wants to make heaven its home and wants to please God by turning from sin.
    1 Corinthians 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

    Yes I have seen a few miracles. God saved me from drowning in the middle of Lake Burley Griffin, I asked God to take away cramps and give me strength to swim, which He did.Have also seen God heal my mum’s liver , sprained ankle , sister’s sprained wrist, sisters dog with crippled leg , a friends 2 year olds foot after large old-school television landed on it and finding a girl who had run away from home 15 seconds after praying when had been searching for 4 hours.
    But the best miracle is having peace in heart towards God.
