Ask the Lord for a baby

1 Samuel 1:20 (NLT) And in due time she gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, for she said, “I asked the Lord for him.”

James, the brother of Jesus, writes, “You don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.” God knows the desires of your heart, but if you want to receive them you still have to ask.

To ask an obvious question: Have you asked God for a baby? Have you prayed that you will fall pregnant? Think about it. Have you?

If you have prayed to conceive, then praise Him for answered prayer. If you have not asked God for a baby, today is the day. Ask the Lord. You don’t have to beg or grovel. The Bible tells us to come boldly to Him. He is your loving Father. He desires to bless you with good things. A baby is definitely a good thing.

Ask The Lord in confidence. He will answer you.

Prayer: Father, I come before You knowing the immense love You have for me. I pray for a baby. I ask that I will fall pregnant this cycle. Thank You for performing a miracle in my body and life.
