Be Amazing

Lately I have been challenged to consider the purpose and vision of my blog. What is sarahcoleman.com.au all about? I felt my musings blog-worthy since it is not only important for me to know this, but also for you, my readers.

So, ah-hum, drumroll please… The purpose of my blog is:

Be amazing.

Two words. Be amazing.

That is what I want for me, and it is what I want for you. I want us to be more amazing than we were yesterday. Ever changing from glory to glory, flourishing in the house of God. Yes, the vision of this blog and all my books is: be amazing.

While I have written books about singleness (Single Christian Female), marriage (coming later 2014), pregnancy (Expecting Daily Pregnancy Devotion), a short book about women and the Bible (Unveiled), oh and a book titled Make Yourself Amazing, all share a common theme: be amazing. Whatever the circumstance, season, or trial: be amazing.

You won’t read my personal struggles or details of my family life in my blog. Many mommy-bloggers do, and they fill a need. I do not wish to demean that type of writing, but it is not what God wants from me here.

What you will read is scripture coupled with insight, that will propel you towards greater revelation and relationship with Jesus Christ. Personal struggles often encourage us to settle. You can’t settle when you’re being amazing. I will write from God’s perspective, not human experience.

So if you need a pick-me-up/kick-up-the-pants every now and again (we all do, myself included), then read the emails, forward them to your friends, and grab or gift a book.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

As always, be amazing.

I found your blog on Crosswalk.com. I have found your blogs to be so uplifting. I have never thought that God wanted me to be amazing. In fact, I thought and felt that He was ashamed and disappointed in me. I have felt that way about myself for many years. I had asked God to forgive me and I believe that He has. I have been unable to forgive myself though. I have been told that God has forgiven me and I knew that He had.

Your blogs have been like a light at the end of a tunnel for me. I believe that God wants me to be amazing. It’s so exhilarating to be free of that heavy load forever. I will be amazing.

    Thank you.
