Isaiah 60:1-3 “Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.
He came for you, you know. To shine on you. All the extravagance, God born as a baby, for you. To shine on you.
Though the world is dark as night, Jesus, the glory of the Lord appeared, to shine in your darkness.
Your darkness is personal. It is real. It is tangible.
But so is the Saviour. So is the Light.
He was born to shine over you. Jesus saved the world from sin, yet in the magnitude of His task, He is personal. He came for you. Light shone brighter.
Allow Christ to shine on you today. He has risen. It is finished. Jesus shines on you, welcomes you as His own. Let the light heal, make you whole.
This Christmas season, let Light shine for all to see, doing in others what has been accomplished in you.
