Kings Flourish

1 Samuel 24:20 And now I realize that you are surely going to be king, and that the kingdom of Israel will flourish under your rule.

Jesus Christ is great! Through His grace and the gift of righteousness, we reign in this life (Romans 5:17). He has made us kings and priests for His glory (Revelation 5:17). We are kings. As kings, the earth flourishes under our rule.

Christian, the world flourishes because of your leadership. You may not think this to be true, but it is. The assignment God has placed upon your life is to cause everything in your sphere of authority to flourish.

So whatever you have in your hands today, cause it to flourish. As a wife and mother, allow your household to flourish. As a parishioner, enable your church and pastors to flourish. In the workplace, may those who answer to you, flourish.

This is the principle of the parable of the talents. God has given your life influence. Right now it may seem small. But as you are loyal and cause the small things of life to bloom, God will expand you.

In all you do today (and every day), ask, “Lord, how can I cause this to flourish?” He will direct and give His wisdom. And due to your faithfulness, He will increase your rule. The world is crying out for godly leaders. Take your rightful place. Serve as king, and cause the world to flourish.

Be amazing.
