On the Edge of Something Beautiful

On the edge of something beautiful. A dream actualised. It invites you to leap out into the wild unknown. Yet there is hesitance. Resistance. The breathtaking vastness beckons.

But you wait.

You have yearned for this. Prayed for it in the long lonely hours. Cried out till your throat went hoarse. Eyes swollen from tears you could barely see. And you thought it would never happen. That God had forgotten or it just wasn’t His will.

But He did not forget.

Now you stand on the cusp of a new beginning. The grace and favour of God manifested before your eyes. It’s here. The moment. Your destiny.

You waver. You doubt.

What are you waiting for? Why are you holding back, unwilling to let go?

He calls you out upon the waters. And it is a mystery. A beautiful mystery. A series of appointments and arrangements orchestrated in His mastery. It has been stunning. It is breathtaking. And it is time.
Time for you to surrender. Give up your security. To become the person Christ sees. To trade your fear for the fear God instead.

Will you?

It is your choice.

But can I give you a word of advice from the other side?

Do it.

Step out and don’t look back. It will be amazing. Far over and above all you could ask or imagine.

Everything He has promised and more. All your heart’s desires, even the ones you never knew you had. They lie in wait for you. On the edge of something beautiful.

So fix your eyes on Jesus. Don’t let them leave His gaze. He will enable you to do the impossible. Where even water becomes a firm foundation. And life is immersed in heaven’s beauty.

You will see what the Lord can do with a life fully surrendered, on the edge of something beautiful.

Psalm 16:11 (Voice) You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment.
